"Right abdomen and pleurx site were prepped and draped. A short multiside hole seroma catheter was used to access the pleurx, followed by contrast administration to evaluate the pleurx drain. Using a combo of glide catheter and Amplatz guidewire, the pleurx catheter was slowly repositioned from the pelvis to the contralateral left lower quadrant and superiorly along the left abdomen. A repeat contrast evaluation was performed. At this point, the pleurx was accessed for a therapeutic paracentesis. The entire site was then sterilely dressed."
