EP repeat study

Question:

Hello Dr. Z, In your book you mention that a repeat EP study should not be coded â?oon a subsequent date unless there is documentation of a new arrhythmiaâ?. What types of circumstances would this include? VT vs. SVT? Same type of arrhythmia in a new location? Examples of when it would be appropriate to code an EP Study on a subsequent date due to a new arrhythmia would be especially helpful. I would appreciate any input you can provide.
