Question:

Documentation of catheter placement: if the cardiologist states "selective injection was performed in the left subclavian artery using hand injection and digital subtraction". Can I code selective catheter placement of the subclavian? In the "Procedure Log Report", its states "right subclavian artery accessed, Optiray 320 2 ml injected into the rt. subclavian artery. The information on this report is documented by an RN with CCLR certification and the report is signed by the Interventional Cardiologist. (Pediatric Congenital Heart Cath Service) thank you.
