Question:

"Indication: Varicose veins. Procedure: Sclerotherapy of right medial calf, mid anterior tight, distal lateral calf, medial knee. Asclera solution was used to inject multiple sites of the right lower extremity." Would this be considered as single vein or multiple veins? Is this documentation sufficient to determine the correct code? How do I know if one or multiple veins were treated?
