93644 not at implant

Date: Dec 13, 2018

Question:

Does 93644 cover before and after for subcutaneous ICD, or should I code it twice as we do with PPM and ICD in similar situations? "His ICD was programmed off during the EP study... DFT testing: VF was induced with burst pacing from the RV apex at 200 msec. The device appropriately sensed and terminated the rhythm with a single shock. His device was reprogrammed to prevent further inappropriate shocks - VF zone increased to 230 bpm and SMART PASS turned on."
