Question:

NAME OF PROCEDURES: CPT code needed for cath placement of umbilical vein

6.Central umbilical vein catheterization, venogram, temporary balloon occlusion, and retrograde venogram.

Then, a 5.5-French Fogarty balloon catheter was inserted via the abdominal wall sheath and navigated into the central aspect of the umbilical vein over a 0.035 inch angled Glidewire. Following catheterization, venogram was then performed, confirming catheter placement within the central aspect of the umbilical vein near the portal vein tumor thrombus as well as flow from the portal system into the abdominal wall venous collaterals. The balloon was inflated and titrated to achieve full apposition of the balloon to the vein wall. Retrograde venogram was then performed via the occlusion balloon catheter, confirming occlusion of the umbilical vein. What CPT code would be used for the cath placement of the umbilical vein during this embolization record?
