Q.How is the NEW ZHealth Online different than ZHealth Publishing’s previous “free” online service?

A.The NEW ZHealth Online now has:

  • More Dr. Z Forum Question & Answers posted online—and more frequent updates. Only ZHealth Online members are able to post their interventional radiology and cardiology coding questions and access answers online. See an example.
  • A robust knowledge database search functionality for ease in finding Q & A information regarding any topic you desire – by code, by phrase, by Global, Major, Selective and Vessel categories. In addition all current and past questions are now cross-referenced to Dr. Z's Medical Coding Series - Interventional Radiology Coding Reference, 2006 Edition for easy reference (and will be cross referenced with other coding sources in the future).
  • Key Medicare CCI Edit quarterly updates that are pertinent to Interventional Radiology & Cardiology (approximately 80 pages per update). See an example.
  • “Case-of-the-Month” — covering complex and interesting coding scenarios. See an example.
  • National Database Statistics section — with expanded national trends for IR, Cardiology, Peripheral in the Cath Lab, EP, Endovascular Surgery/OR and other relevant areas and monthly updates on problem codes including statistics on the top “missed” and top “improper” code trends. See an example.
  • Bimonthly ZHealth Online newsletters — covering a range of interventional and cardiology coding topics will also continue for members. See an example.

Q.Why is ZHealth Online now a pay service?
A.ZHealth Publishing has moved to monthly or annual pay “memberships (or subscriptions) for individuals (and annual group memberships—see below) in order to enhance our existing ZHealth Online services that we believe members desire. Providing this added value has meant significant additional web site and content development costs—and ongoing costs. The initial reaction to our “pay” service, has been tremendous, and we plan to continue providing even more types of coding content to our ZHealth Online members in the future.

Q.What does a ZHealth Online membership cost?
A.See a summary of ZHealth Online Pricing for both individuals and organizations/groups

Q.Can an organization/corporation sign up for multiple users?
A.Yes, your hospital or other organization or company can opt to sign up for a “bundle” of up to) three users or (up to) 10 users (or multiple “bundles”)—again, with substantial discounts. See the ZHealth Online Pricing.

Q.If we sign up for one of the “group” options, when do we do we have to designate the names and email addresses for those individuals?
A.You can include all of them when you initially sign up or add members at any point (up to your “bundle” limit, or the designated “administrator” of your organization/corporation can add them at any point in our new system.

Q.Will I need a new user name and password?
A.Whether you are an individual or part of an organizational membership each member will have his or her own unique user name and password. Your email address user name will remain the same, and you can designate your own password per individual.

Q.How do we pay for a ZHealth Online membership?
A.You can use a credit card (VISA, MC, Discover, American Express), check, or money order. Or an organization may submit signed a Purchase Order (by fax or mail) to initiate its membership, and then pay by check or money order. Payment and/or signed Purchase Order (by an authorized individual) must be received before your ZHealth Publishing membership goes live.

Q.If I sign up for the monthly option, how will I be charged?
A.You can only choose the monthly option if you are an individual paying by credit card. You are agreeing to let ZHealth Publishing charge your credit card the monthly ZHealth Online fee each month until you cancel your membership. You can cancel your monthly membership at any point, and it will become effective the following month. Annual members will be provided a renewal notification before their first 12 months is up.

Q.Does Dr. Z actually answer the questions submitted by ZHealth Online Members?
A.Yes, Dr. Zielske personally answers members’ coding questions. Please, though, read the Legal Disclaimer.

Q.Does Dr Zielske answer every Ask Dr Z. Forum coding question from members?
A.Dr Zielske will be answering even more questions (submitted by ZHealth Online members, only) than in the past, and the Q & A’s will be posted more frequently. If a question has already been answered or is not relevant to interventional radiology or cardiology coding, a new Q & A will not be posted. But he will personally answer the huge majority of questions from members as rapidly as possible. One of the key features of the new service, is that the Q & A’s (including historical Q & A’s) will be in searchable database format. See example Q & A’s.
