Significant Code Changes take effect in 2012: In 2012, there are new codes, deleted codes, and changes to existing codes that will once again impact the cardiac, endovascular, and interventional radiology areas. There are many new codes, as well as changes to existing codes, in the pacemaker/defibrillator area. In the endovascular area, there are significant changes in diagnostic renal angiography with new bundling issues as well as vena cava filter procedures. Also, changes in paracentesis procedural coding and neurointerventional procedural coding have been implemented. ZHealth Publishing will once again help you to understand these many changes coming in 2012.
