Read what medical coders, medical billers, clinicians, and consultants
have to say about ZHealth Publishing coding Books and eBooks
"Recently I was looking for information or guidance for cardiac and interventional procedures for my hospital clients. Dr. Z's eBooks are amazing. He has made the coding process so easy to understand. The documentation for the "dos and donts" is well explained, and the CMS references are there for you to go to. I will definitely recommend these products to my hospital clients to use at the department level to help with the coding and billing."

"I just want to tell you how much your coding reference has helped me in my job in Revenue Cycle. The first department I was to investigate was radiology. Your reference manual was invaluable for my review. I am a CPC but to most of us that are coders the world of radiology is foreign turf. It is also the fastest growing OP department in the hospital. Not to mention the cost of operating radiology is high. IR procedures are complicated and can be very tricky to code. Your manual is so easy to understand what procedures are being performed in order to code it correctly. I work with radiology staff to assure we have all that is needed to be paid for what we are performing. Your website is also a great tool! Thanks. I tell everyone that it is a must if you are coding IR."

"Dr Z's Interventional Radiology Coding Reference got me up to speed quickly. The layout, illustrations, and examples in the book make it the most user-friendly tool on the market. Also, I visit the website often, especially to search the Q&As. It would be difficult to imagine an IR-related topic that has not been addressed. Having access to the website is like having a "friend in the business". I love that cardiology issues are addressed in the search engine as well. Dr. Z and his staff provide a wonderful service, and it is much appreciated!"

"As a nurse auditor, part of my job is to review interventional radiology and cath lab CPT codes/charges. Since the coding of these procedures is quite complex, I have come to rely heavily on the coding manuals published by Dr. Zielske at ZHealth Publishing. These manuals cover all procedures from basic radiology to very complex interventional procedures. At the beginning of each chapter, Dr. Z provides a description of the procedure with illustrations and variations. Since I've never actually worked in a lab, these descriptions are very helpful. Our department also subscribes to the ZHealth Online website. There is a database of Questions and Answers for specific procedures and the opportunity to submit questions. As a member of the website, we receive Dr Zielske's monthly newsletters, which address new codes and changes and/or clarification of coding guidelines. The CCI edit link on the website is in an easy to read format. Also, I was fortunate to attend a three day seminar given by Dr Zielske last year, and of all the seminars I've attended on this subject, this was definitely the best organized and most comprehensive on the subject. I cannot say enough about ZHealth and Dr. Z!"

"I just opened my book about 15 minutes ago, and I think I'll finally be able to code everything I'm supposed to code. Let me know if you come out with any other helpful guides, books, etc. Many, many thanks!"

"Thank you very much! I've just about worn out my Interventional Radiology book! We've learned so much and will significantly improve our reimbursement and compliance based on the changes we have made."

"The ZHealthPublishing Interventional Radiology Coding Reference book is a great tool!"

"I work for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System, and several years ago when I worked for Richard Roudebush VA in Indianapolis, my supervisor at the time gave each one of us a pack that contained Interventional Radiology and Cardiology Coding Charts. This was a God-Send! These charts have helped me greatly. The other day when coding an encounter, my co-worker noticed that I had these charts, and he could not believe how helpful they were. Thank you!"

"The book is user-friendly and has an excellent Table of Contents and Index that allows me to easily locate the information I need. The color illustrations are very detailed, and I like the Procedures Tables that are located throughout. They are quick, helpful reference tools. The coding examples are outstanding guides to understanding the individual coding situations we deal with everyday."

"Dr. Zielske, the Interventional Radiology Coding Reference is 'just what the doctor ordered'. Because our Coding Department is so busy, I like to find specific things quickly. The Table of Contents and Index make that simple. It was a pleasant surprise to get some "historical" information on the Medicare program and APC basics. The illustrations are very helpful for coders who have never seen an interventional radiology procedure done, yet must have some understanding in order to code the procedure correctly. Citing the CPT Assistant reference is a great idea. I will be ready to reorder as updates come out."

"We have just received your book and have already found it useful for our charging. I especially like the Coding Instructions and References. There have been many times that we have had to show supporting documentation and the Reference sections make this much easier. The Coding Instructions are useful for people who have little or beginning knowledge of coding. The entire book is in a user-friendly format that allows an individual to find the answer to their question without time consuming research. The pictures allow for a detailed look for those who need a visual aid to really get the full concept."
Brenda Johnson, RT(R)(CV), Cardiac Services Manager

"I wanted to let you know that you and your staff did an excellent job on the new Interventional Radiology Coding Reference. I especially like the Coding Instructions that are listed for each procedure. I feel that this book will be a great reference material for anyone doing coding for interventional radiology. When I came down last year for the training session, I was a little overwhelmed at first by all of the information that was provided. But by the end of the week I was feeling much better about interventional coding, but there was a lot of information (coding tidbits) that I didn't take notes on but could recall you mention it during the training session. Your new book is very user-friendly and captures all those coding rules (tidbits) that will definitely improve coding accuracy and enhance reimbursement. And since I am in charge of physician documentation issues at our facility, I just love the documentation requirement for the procedures. Another great feature of the book is all the visual illustrations (pictures) of the vascular system and other organs of the body. This is a great plus for non-clinical people like myself. Overall your book is much more detailed and user friendly than others I’ve seen."

"It's obvious that Dr. Z wrote this book for coders like myself. It is easy to read, and he uses layman's terms -- not physician terms. I really like the illustrations and the overall format. It's a reference that we will rely on for coding interventional radiology procedures."
