A. The best thing to do is try our FREE eLearning Course. Each online course includes a detailed Course Outline, Study Guide, Test, and Certificate (upon successful completion). You can check out each of the course descriptions before purchasing as well. Here are the instructions to try your FREE eLearning course and earn CEUs.
A. Yes, but if you’re already a member of ZHealth Online, or if you’ve purchased from ZHealth before, then you already have an account with us. If not, you’ll be prompted to establish an account and asked to set up a ZHealth account. Please read these instructions to sign up and purchase your eLearning course(s).
A. Yes, you will have a choice to indicate the following when you take your course:
- ASRT CEUs only
- AAPC CEUs only
- AHIMA CEUS only
- CEUs from multiple organizations
Note: There is a nominal additional fee for CEUs from multiple organizations (for the same course).
A. You have 30 days from the time of purchase to complete your eLearning course(s). The courses expire in 30 days if not completed.
A. You can exit the study guide and the test before completion and return to complete the activities that you have not yet completed. The test is not submitted and scored until you indicate you have completed it.
A. The CEUs awarded are based on the amount of time it is expected to complete the education module and take the test. One CEU is equivalent to one hour of time. Course time may vary, however, based on the level of expertise of the student.
A. You may receive CEUs from AHIMA, AAPC, and ASRT at this time. Other associations may be added over time. Please see the eLearning Course Descriptions for the number of CEUs awarded per organization.
A. You will need to hang on to your certificate of completion and report the session completed with the number listed on the certificate (if required) to your credentialing organization. ZHealth does not report CEUs awarded back to any of the credentialing bodies.
A. Yes, when you have successfully completed the post-education test you will be awarded a certificate of completion (online) to print for your records.
A. The passing grade is based on the percent of questions in the test that were answered correctly. The credentialing organizations typically determine what percentage is considered passing. The passing percentages are as follows: AHIMA – 70%, AAPC – 75%, ASRT – 75%.
A. No, the test must be passed to be awarded CEUs.
A. The individual credentialing organization determines whether a test can be re-taken or not. The AAPC and ASRT allow a test to be re-taken; AHIMA does not. However, the passing score for AHIMA is lower than that of the other two organizations.
A. The credentialing organizations do not allow repeating the same module. However, if the module has been revised, the new version can be taken and CEUs earned.
A. No, you either pass or fail the entire module.
A. The module can be printed, so it can be referred back to; however, it is recommended that the information be studied so the knowledge of coding is enhanced versus looking up the answers.
A. Just sign into your ZHealth account, and you will be able to see all past history of your ZHealth eLearning courses. Click on the My eLearning Courses tab. <<this needs to be verified…and it would be nice to see they can see all orders, etc after x date>>
A. The courses are priced based on the number of CEUs and range from $35 to $70 each – with an additional fee for multiple certifications per course. We also offer volume discounts for multiple individuals, and ZHealth Online members receive a 10% discount.

A. The easiest way is to pay online with a credit card at time of purchase. ZHealth accepts major credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. However, we also accept check, money order, or Purchase Order from a hospital (which must be signed by an authorized person). Individual payment must be received before you receive access to the course (unless your organization already has set up P.O. term with ZHealth Publishing).
A. Yes, ZHealth Publishing offers discounts for the purchase of multiple courses. In addition, multiple course purchases extend the expiration date of the courses from 30 days to 60 days.
A. Absolutely. ZHealth Publishing also offers live seminars and webinars, both of which are eligible for CEUs.
